Workshop 1: Obtaining a Job/Internship in Asia

Learn the resources and skills necessary for landing a global internship. The workshop will be led by Professor Jane Kuo, who currently teaches Business Chinese at UCSD. Professor Kuo is a former MBA professor and conducted seminars in business specific Chinese language and cross-cultural communication skills to executives of Motorola, Intel, Delta-Faucet and other multi-national corporations.

The workshop will guide students through their first steps in obtaining an internship or job in Asia. Students will develop skills in searching for an appropriate internship, narrow down their internship options and learn the differences between several types of programs. The workshop will also feature speakers for other past internships such as Pacific Rim Undergraduate Experience (PRIME). Discover the vast opportunities that Asia has to offer the brilliant young minds at UCSD.
